The Challenge

The Challenge Behind Maliye

Event organisers often manage invitations through WhatsApp, record responses in spreadsheets and confirm attendance through follow-up calls. When an event also has guest fees or controlled entry, they may need separate processes for payments and checking people in.

For family events, one RSVP can include several adults, children and seniors. Organisers need those numbers before they can plan catering, seating and venue operations.

Maliye was built to give guests one clear registration journey and organisers a live view of registrations, payments and arrivals.

Our Product Response

Ultralink developed Maliye to connect the event journey from invitation to gate entry.

Organisers create an event page and share it by link or QR code. Guests register as a family and, when fees are enabled, can pay online. Organisers can issue entry QR passes, check guests in at the venue and follow event activity from one dashboard.

Free events can use the registration flow without enabling payments.

What We Built into Maliye

Event Pages and Invitation Sharing

Organisers can create an event page with the date, venue, capacity, RSVP deadline and information guests need. They can share it through a link or QR code on WhatsApp, by email or in printed materials. Guests can open the page and respond without downloading an app.

Family-wise Registrations and Headcount

One RSVP can include the number of adults, children and seniors attending together. Maliye turns those responses into participant totals that organisers can use when planning catering, seating and venue capacity.

Optional Guest Payments

Organisers can enable fees for paid events and collect online payments as part of registration. If an event is free, guests can complete their RSVP without a payment step.

Event Ledger and Financial Overview

The Event Ledger gives organisers a view of the event’s income, expenses and balance. Guest registration fees and refunds update automatically. Organisers can add other income and record costs such as catering, décor and rentals, with individual entries showing how the totals were formed.

A PDF summary can be downloaded or shared on WhatsApp. It includes entry titles and amounts without guest names, phone numbers or private notes.

QR Entry Passes and Gate Check-in

When entry passes are enabled, guests receive a QR pass after registration or payment, as applicable. Gate staff can scan passes using a PIN-protected link on their phones, allowing organisers to follow arrivals as guests enter.

Live Dashboard and Event Reports

The organiser dashboard brings together family registrations, participant headcount, payment activity and check-ins. Organisers can also export event information in Excel or PDF format for catering, seating, security and other operational tasks.

One Product, Two Focused Experiences

For guests

Guests open the event link or scan its QR code, enter their family details and submit an RSVP. If the organiser has enabled fees, they can complete payment online. When entry passes are enabled, they can show their QR pass at the venue.

For organizers

Organisers create the event, choose whether to enable fees and entry passes, share the invitation and monitor responses in one dashboard. On the event day, staff can check guests in while organisers follow arrivals live.
